Reproduction of an unrecorded Civil War narrative by a member of the 13th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. Morgan enlisted in 1861, fought with the 13th OVI until captured at New Hope Church, GA, in May, 1864. He was a captive in Andersonville and finally exchanged in March, 1865. Added is a preface by Mike Bricker, a collector of Ohio Civil War writings, giving biographical details of Morgan and an evaluation of the importance of this work (little is written on the history of this unit.) 1 of 500 copies, 300 of which were issued as an annual publication of the Northern Ohio Bibliophilic Society (NOBS).
