Frontis, engraved title-page and plates and maps present although 2 are out of place. Includes a fold-out map of Lake Ontario. Many ads at rear of hotels, steamers and railroads. John Disturnell (1801-1877) was a compiler and publisher of many guide-books, gazetteers and hand-books centering on New York and the Eastern United States.
