Life and times of pastor of the United Brethren Church, starting in Litchfield, Connecticut and after 64 years serving the East Ohio Conference ended at his last church in Nova, Ashland County, Ohio. In 1865, he spent two years in Akron after health and financial problems and worked for Weary, Snyder & Wilcox. After retirement, he returned to Akron in 1901.
